No SEW MASK 😷 Behind the scenes

It took me 5 mins to make the mask. It took 20 minutes to record and 30 minutes to edit. I try to keep my recordings short and straight to the point so it doesn’t require much editing. Too much footage requires more work.

⚠️  Editing and uploading a YouTube video requires patience and time. When content creators  post a video or state please like, comment and subscribe  it’s validation of their hard work and effort even if you don’t like the video lol.  πŸ˜†

I used my Canon for this video.

(Behind the scenes)

I am absolutely in love with the finished product and video.

Click( Play ) to watch ❤️  Thanks for watching πŸ˜‰

I didn’t mention in the video, but another option for ear loops are elastic bands. However, I went for comfort.

Children Grow Up :Take On Your Advice

I look forward to the relationship that I will have when my children grow up.

I pray πŸ™πŸΎ that I am blessed to see them become good humans, raise a family and be healthy and strong with values.

I am enjoying their childhood and creating good memories. I am also observing their personalities while  helping them overcome issues that they face.

I have been looking at the bigger picture. I love the adulthood relationship I have with my mom.

It’s full of moods and strong personalities, but it’s lit lol

I took time during quarantine and realized that for the last 14 years I’ve instilled some strong morals and truly nurtured my children. I am shaping them to be good humans.

I don’t sugarcoat everything, yet allow I allow them to be kids and make mistakes and learn from them.

Their voice and wishes hasn’t always been heard, but they are resilient. I admire their strength. They adjust accordingly to protect their energy. I am learning  from them.  πŸ€« They don’t read my blog πŸ˜† I don’t think lol.

I take energy serious. Which  is why I’m a true introvert.

As a kid we pay attention to all situations, but let’s be honest our voices were rarely heard.

I love that I’m a disciplinarian; yet I am a great listener when it comes to my children. You will be surprised what your children know. They are smarter than you think. If you’re not talking to your children the kids at school are doing it for you.

There is no manual on parenting. We all want to believe we are doing it right. I’ve witnessed  adults with good upbringing make bad decisions. It’s life.

I focus more on providing love and protection.

I was raised by a single mom and I never questioned why. I just adjusted my life accordingly. However, once I became an adult I built a relationship with my father.

God is so good. I am glad I didn’t shut him out.

He apologized and I forgave him.

Ok so that’s enough on this post ...

Check back in with me πŸ’ž

Let me know your thoughts?

The Cut UPDATE

I knew eventually I wanted a change, but I was forced to change my hair this time.

My edges forced the cut.

Stress initiated the cut.

My edges feel so free! I also got a cute style and I’m not growing my sides back no time soon.

I am considering cutting the other side off 😬 lol.

Dollar Tree Phone Stand Review

I stay in the Dollar Tree no matter what city or state. I  Google all local Dollar Tree stores and I narrow down my favorite one to do most of my shopping.

I found this stand and it’s really sturdy. Most of my Saturdays are spent in the comfort of the bed and using my phone lol.

I watch movies and YouTube videos comfortably with this stand. I thought it was awesome because they have different colors. I purchased the rose gold because it matches my phone. So cute!

Cheers to the $1 phone stand at the Dollar 🌲 Tree 🌸

Works like a charm!

What I buy from the Dollar Tree for my Locs

I stay in the Dollar Tree no matter what city or state. I  Google all local Dollar Tree stores and I narrow down my favorite one to do most of my shopping.

If you have locs a big task is drying your locs. Most people wring their locs with a t-shirt or towel. However, I find it easy to use the Microfiber Hair Wrap I purchased at the Dollar Tree. It truly works!

(The Back )

It’s heaven sent! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Last, but not least I get all of my bands from the Dollar Tree.

The bands are great for buns and keeping your locs seperated. It’s definitely great for my daughters locs. They are durable and your locs won’t get tangled or cause friction like rubber bands.

I love the basic solutions head wraps! They are stretchy, durable and comfortable! I’ve yet to find a better brand!

Drop by your local Dollar Tree and give the items mentioned a try!
