What the haul?

This was my first time doing a try on haul/lookbook.

I almost refused the offer, but I decided  to give it a try.

I turn down a lot of sponsorships-simply because I want to make sure I can fully commit to the project. Whether it’s receiving money or accepting free products it’s a commitment.

In the video below I selected a few items and put my spin on these Amazon finds with the company Luvamia. The company worked great with my schedule and timeframe.

I actually enjoyed making the video. It takes a lot work. Trust me! It’s also fun as well!

 Balance baby 😎

Thanks for watching!

Remembering Tootie ❤️

It’s always sad to hear someone you knew passed away… so young and the reason why.  πŸ’”
I know she fought and she will be missed.

Backstory : I got a hair cut and someone said you look like a girl name Tootie.

Me being me I was like absolutely NOT!

I found out Tootie was a cutie ❤️ Someone also said I was Tootie with no booty. She had the cutest shape!
I would see her at the college parties hanging with her best friend enjoying life with that 😊 smile.

In order to maintain a short cut you need a hairdresser to keep you in the game on those days you don’t want to do it yourself.

I went to the local hairdresser for a cut and curl.
I believe his name was Deon. Tootie was always there. One day I couldn’t get a appointment with him I begged  her to curl my hair 🀫and baby it turned out BOMB!

I didn’t hang out with her, but she became my back-up hairstylist in college so you know you talk to hairstylist about it ALL.

I love you Tootie and you will be missed ❤️
We only  kept in touch by Instagram messages and exchanging likes ❤️ My likes were in support of her business!

She deserves to be celebrate and remembered ❤️
My heart aches for her son and family! ❤️πŸ™πŸΎ

Loc Journey update Year 4 Approaching

Here’s a growth update as we approach year 4 next month! I can’t believe I got this far into my  loc journey. I am so glad that I didn’t wait until I was 40.

Now when I turn 40 my babies will be flourishing even more 🌻

Most of my updates are on my Instagram and YouTube, but I am back to blogging about it ALL.

I missed blogging! The grammatical errors and all, but I still have a passion for it ❤️

Loc Bangs

I love that so many people are finally embracing Locs. It feels so good to inspire. I never style my locs, but I’m glad I did. I love the versatility. In the video below  I show how I struggled with the bang. I almost gave up lol I pushed through.

All days won’t be glitzy and glam.
However, give this style a try!
