Children Grow Up :Take On Your Advice

I look forward to the relationship that I will have when my children grow up.

I pray 🙏🏾 that I am blessed to see them become good humans, raise a family and be healthy and strong with values.

I am enjoying their childhood and creating good memories. I am also observing their personalities while  helping them overcome issues that they face.

I have been looking at the bigger picture. I love the adulthood relationship I have with my mom.

It’s full of moods and strong personalities, but it’s lit lol

I took time during quarantine and realized that for the last 14 years I’ve instilled some strong morals and truly nurtured my children. I am shaping them to be good humans.

I don’t sugarcoat everything, yet allow I allow them to be kids and make mistakes and learn from them.

Their voice and wishes hasn’t always been heard, but they are resilient. I admire their strength. They adjust accordingly to protect their energy. I am learning  from them.  🤫 They don’t read my blog 😆 I don’t think lol.

I take energy serious. Which  is why I’m a true introvert.

As a kid we pay attention to all situations, but let’s be honest our voices were rarely heard.

I love that I’m a disciplinarian; yet I am a great listener when it comes to my children. You will be surprised what your children know. They are smarter than you think. If you’re not talking to your children the kids at school are doing it for you.

There is no manual on parenting. We all want to believe we are doing it right. I’ve witnessed  adults with good upbringing make bad decisions. It’s life.

I focus more on providing love and protection.

I was raised by a single mom and I never questioned why. I just adjusted my life accordingly. However, once I became an adult I built a relationship with my father.

God is so good. I am glad I didn’t shut him out.

He apologized and I forgave him.

Ok so that’s enough on this post ...

Check back in with me 💞

Let me know your thoughts?

Later ✌🏽☺️
