WORKING OUT?

I don't feel like working out!

It feels forced when I try!

Why? 😂

I know the benefits of exercising. I also know it's all in my mind. I have been very busy working and trying to meet other goals that I have neglected the importance of incorporating exercising back into my lifestyle.

Facts!

OK, there are things that we can do to jump start a fit lifestyle.

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING LATELY; (BABY STEPS LOL)

I have been working out when I feel like it. Sometimes it's once or twice a week. However, I do have children and they keep me pretty active. I have incorporated more vegetables into my meals and just by doing that I have seen great results and I have way more energy!

I will end this blog with a flashback of my fit lifestyle as a reminder to get back to what's important!

Faux Locs inspired me to stop putting off my Loc journey

Faux Locs inspired me to stop putting off my loc journey. I could keep installing faux Locs, but I can't keep applying that type of tension on my hair and definitely not on my edges. After taking them out it still took a few months to start my loc journey.

In my early YouTube years, no style would last more than 4 weeks. I enjoyed trying different styles. If you are considering Locs try faux locs. Crochet styles worked great for me. I braid my foundation the night before and I install the hair the next day.

Kid Free Weekend Girls Night Out

It was really hard when I started having kid free weekends because I was use to being MOM all the time. I cried like a baby😭 the first weekend my kids went with their dad. Don't get me wrong I still miss them and yes I shed a few internal and external tears, but now I have a set schedule of me time!

I don't need to look for a babysitter anymore! hahahaha

Sometimes great events fall on my weekend and I opt out of going because it's their time and I want to spend it all with them. Plus, I just tell myself oh well I will find something else next weekend when I'm free!

Maybelline X Shayla | City Mini Palette

I really needed to add to my lack of eyeshadow collection so I went to Walmart. On my hunt I found The City Mini Palette. MakeupShayla from YouTube collaborated with MAYBELLINE.

The pigments are great! When I first saw it, I initially thought it was too small; not giving thought to the name "City Mini". This powerful eyeshadow comes in a small package, but it delivers!
